Are the prices shown fixed?
They are starting prices. Your final quote depends on the vehicle, location, access, parts and the work required. Nothing starts until the price is agreed.
What area do you cover?
JB's covers Bedford, Kempston, Wootton and nearby Bedfordshire areas. Work further away can often be arranged with a mileage-based call-out quote.
Can you supply the parts?
Yes. Suitable parts can be sourced and included in your quote, or you can ask about fitting parts you already have before booking.
What is included in a 6-weekly HGV inspection?
The vehicle is checked for safety-critical defects and roadworthiness, with findings recorded in a written inspection report. Repairs and parts are quoted separately.
Does HGV MOT preparation include the MOT test?
No. The starting price covers the pre-test inspection and preparation labour. The test fee, parts and additional repairs are separate.
Can every breakdown be repaired at the roadside?
Not always. JB's will assess the fault and complete a safe roadside repair where practical. If specialist equipment or recovery is needed, the next steps will be explained clearly.
